Knight Wilson is an architecture practice based on the Gold Coast and in Melbourne, working across the fields of residential, commercial and the public realm. We currently undertake projects in South-East Queensland, Northern NSW and Victoria.
We aim to provide well considered solutions to a client’s needs, focusing on the fundamental questions and hidden potential inside a brief. Knight Wilson is able to provide architectural services from concept right through to building completion.
A building is a considerable investment, and as such we believe that the utmost care & diligence should be taken during the design process to ensure the best outcome is produced for the client, building users & greater public. We view our work as a collaborative process, where clients, consultants and builders are all partners working towards a common goal.
Our focus as a practice lies on interrogating relationships at varying scales from the micro to the macro - between a building, its occupants, the landscape, and surrounding neighbourhood. The smallest detail should be considered, right through to the way that a building occupies its landscape and context.
We believe that the buildings we design should be authentic and honest, and celebrate light, space, material, craft & nature.
